TANIA KITSOU

“Art” was conceived as a sacred action because the “I” of each beholder is set in confrontation with the fluxion of the “dramatic” action of the artist and its climax.

“Αrt” represents what “normally we do not see “: the supersubstantial essence of life, reminding us of birth, passion and death.

The awareness of death has been – since the beginning of times – the motivation of human civilization:  we don’t actually live day- by- day
( = bluntness of consciousness) but we die day- by- day
( = acutenesss of consciousness) , thus memory  it’s all that’s left.
